Farewell, Tim Russert

Hey folks, take a moment to think about what Tim Russert brought to your Sunday mornings and election coverage. One of the great ones. A breed of journalist we don't see everyday. A loss indeed.

I liked his interviews--he seemed like a very kind and smart man.

In a completely unrelated note..thank you for putting me on your blogroll :) That just made my weekend!

I have been absolutely heartbroken over this loss. There has been a lump in my throat all weekend over his passing. I have been sending out wishes for peace and comfort to his family today - father's day - knowing how much he loved his son and father, and how hard today must be for all of them. I hope his spirit and example as a news broadcaster lives on.

p.s. I love being on your blogroll too!

I was shocked! I'm a big fan...If I can have as much an impact as he had, then I would've lived a full life.

My heart has been heavy ever since I heard the news. One of my favorite things to do is get up on Sunday mornings and plop down on the couch with my coffee and Tim Russert. I would get a rush watching him grill politicians and their advisors. He never let anyone off the hook, yet he was always so respectful.
