Today's cocktail is a bridge between donkeys and elephants. It's a shooter in honor of Sarah Palin. And it's called an Island Donkey, which is a nod to my blue brethren.
Island Donkey
1 ounce Cinnamon Schnapps
1 ounce Godiva Liqueur
1 ounce Coconut Rum (You know I'm partial to Malibu.)
Fill a tall glass or cocktail shaker with ice. Add chocolate liqueur and rum. Shake. Pour into a small glass like one of those old school juice glass or a large shot glass. Drizzle with Cinnamon Schnapps. Ready. Aim. Shoot.
This is as close to shooting as this girl will ever get. I consider my bar a shooting range.

I love it- I am on a crash diet right now since we're heading to the gym- but I'm noting this one- I would like to get that close to shooting her too!
God- I'm dumb- I meant we're heading to the beach soon!!! Obviously the gym is on my mind!

I'd love to know what sort of concoction you'd make for the Elephants in the world. Might I suggest coughsyrup, soda and a dash of out of touch?
Not really relevant, but just tried to subscribe to your blog in google reader and found it a little difficult. The first subscription option in your sidebar brings up a post from march this year, the second one works though.
I don't know if you can fix it (I know I couldn't) but I thought I'd let you know.
